Job Description:
1. Overseeing the Finance and Accounts Department
  • Setting up policies and procedures of Finance department
  • Ensuring timely raising of Insertion orders
  • Ensuring timely and correct raising of invoices and follow up with clients for payments
  • Ensuring proper check of vendor invoices and timely payment to vendors
  • Validation of vendor payments
  • Ensuring proper filing of documents, agreements, Vendor KYC
  • Bank and credit card management
  • Payroll processing
  • Developing good relations with vendors, clients and banks
  • Control over assets of the Company
  • Monitoring of credit periods and credit limits provided to clients
2. Regular Analysis of Books
  • Regular review of books
  • Ensure that the accounts will clients / vendors are reconciled at periodic intervals
  • Review of assets / liabilities and income and expenses
  • Finalization of accounts and assisting in auditing
3. Reporting to the Management
  • Preparation of monthly profit and loss account and balance sheet
  • Preparation of Campaign wise profitability
  • Trend analysis
  • Weekly fund flow statement
  • Preparation of Budgets and Budget vs. Actual Comparison
 
4. Statutory Compliance
  • Timely and correct calculation and payment of TDS, GST, PF, ESIC
  • Filing of returns of TDS, GST, PF, ESIC, etc.
  • Co-ordination with consultants, chartered accountant, secretarial compliance
5. Others
  • Contributing to decisions regarding financial strategy
  • Deployment of surplus funds
